Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Hormoscope app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to the app in addition to these Terms.
2. Not medical advice
Hormoscope is a wellness and entertainment app based on typical menstrual-cycle patterns. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and must not be used for contraception or fertility planning. Predictions are estimates and may be inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
3. Subscriptions (Hormoscope Pro)
- Hormoscope Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered as a weekly or yearly plan; the yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region; we may change prices for future periods.
- Your period log and calendar remain free to use.
4. Your content
Data you enter (cycle dates, logs, notes) is stored on your device and in Apple Health as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your own data and for keeping your device secure.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, or use it in violation of applicable law.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any reliance on its predictions.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate the app or your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence applies.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
